Acute Healthcare Services
Acute (hospital) Healthcare Services are provided at Delta Memorial Hospital, which is located at 811 Highway 65 South, Dumas, Arkansas. The hospital is licensed by the State of Arkansas for 25 acute/swing beds, all private rooms, and is certified to participate in the Medicare and Medicaid Programs. The hospital is certified under the Medicare Conditions of Participation as a Critical Access Hospital and as such is limited to an average length of say of 96 hours. Persons who require care beyond that limit will be transferred to an appropriate healthcare facility or Skilled Nursing (Swing-bed), which can best meet their needs for care and treatment.
