The Revenue Cycle Team
Delta Memorial Hospital has created a Revenue Cycle Team that meets biweekly. The primary function of the team is to review processes within the organization that impact billing, collections and regulatory compliance. Additionally, this team strives to stay abreast of continually changing rules and processes. A newsletter, called The Revenue Cycle Report is created and distributed internally following each meeting of the team. This newsletter is a tool for communicating the activities of the Revenue Cycle Team to all hospital employees. This is just one method the hospital has implemented to improve communication within the hospital AND improve processes for our patients and families.
