Physician Opportunity Family Practice Physician - Delta Health Services (Rural Health Clinic) Delta Health Services (DHS) is a rural health clinic which is owned and operated by Delta Memorial Hospital (DMH). Physician is employed to provide primary health care services to DHS patients at various healthcare facilities as assigned. Person employed in this position is permitted wide latitude for the exercise of independent clinical judgment subject to delineated clinical privileges as defined by Delta Memorial Hospital Medical Staff Bylaws. Physician must be skilled in rural family practice and provide obstetrical services. Physician will also provide coverage to the hospital emergency department on a rotating basis with other area physicians (1:5 current rotation). Salaried staff position with productivity incentives, paid time off, CME and a nice benefit package. The area served by Delta Memorial Hospital is currently designated as a rural Primary Care Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA) and a Medically Underserved Area (MUA).
