Registering patients
Verifying and collecting copies of divers licenses and insurance cards
Obtaining correct billing addresses and numbers for patients

Assisting with general billing questions
Posting patient payments
Helping with general hospital needs

SKILLS
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to build relationships and quickly develop trust with patients and healthcare professionals.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Organizing, multi-tasking, and flexible to handle fluctuating workloads and tasks.
INTERPERSONAL SKILLS
Ability to multi-task and handle many incoming calls or patients at once.
Efficient and accurate data-entry skills.
Familiar with medical terms, identification of medical reports through medical terminology.
Friendly and knowledgeable when answering the phone, taking messages, or redirecting calls to appropriate person
Ability to effectively use and maintain office equipment such as photocopier, printers, fax machine, etc
