Executive Director DHSC
The Executive Director is responsible for planning, directing, and managing current operations, future growth, and program development while ensuring responsible use of fiscal, human, and physical resources. In partnership with the Board of Directors, the Executive Director develops organizational goals, objectives, and strategic plans aligned with the mission and vision, and ensures the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective, and community-responsive care. The Executive Director provides strategic leadership, oversees service and facility development, stays current on industry trends, and keeps the Board informed of operational and public policy matters. Additionally, the Executive Director fosters strong, collaborative relationships with Medical Staff to support the continued provision of high-quality services. The Executive Director must be directly employed by the health center and report directly to the health center’s board. The position must also provide oversight of key management staff and be responsible for the day-to-day activities necessary to carry out the project.

Training and Experience Qualifications
The qualified candidate is preferred to have a master’s degree (e.g. Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, etc.), or graduate of an accredited university with a degree in Management or related field. The individual will have at least five (5) years of experience with administration/leadership.

• Strong leader with a demonstrated ability to inspire and build high performing, collaborative teams.
• Effective communicator with the ability to expand the agency’s visibility, influence and impact; someone who can be passionate, compelling and persuasive.
• Commitment to cultural competency and sensitivity; experience working with individuals and groups from diverse racial, cultural, linguistic and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Partners with the Board of Directors to report on clinical quality, administrative operations, and fiscal performance.
• Collaborates with the CMO, clinical leaders, and physicians to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
• Works directly with the CFO to ensure fiscal responsibility of the organization’s operating budget
• Provides strategic leadership by setting organizational direction and overseeing the design, delivery, quality, risk management, and promotion of healthcare programs and services.
